Alabama Department of Mental Health

The Alabama Division of Developmental Disabilities provides an array of services and
support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families. The state of Alabama through contractual arrangements with community agencies and regional service locations assist with behavioral, medical, psychiatric, and dental services.

As the assigned Financial Intermediary, Allied Community Resources is responsible for
but not limited to:

•      Enrollment with Federal and State entities as a household employer.
•      Employment verification/documentation for household employers’ employees.
•      Assistance with plan management
•      Payroll and reimbursements for household employers’ employees.
