ABI Training Workshops ABI
Advanced Training Workshops encourage providers to
expand their knowledge of the issues impacting
individuals with brain injury and they explore one
specific area of brain injury in great detail. The
training is free of charge and you must register
directly through Allied Community Resources. We will
send you directions and a confirmation at that time.
All trainings begin promptly at 10:30 am.

Registrations are accepted via email also. You are
encouraged to attend as many advanced training
workshops as you would like and you may register
early. Reminder calls will be made approximately 5
business days prior to the training date.

This is an informational session on
what a brain injury is and how it affects people.
Upon successful completion, which includes a short
quiz, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
It does not train you or certify you in anything and
it is simply part of the application process. If you
are a private provider,
you may not
begin working until you have successfully completed
the basic training, gained approval as a provider,
are named to a participant’s service plan, completed
the new hire paperwork, and have been given a start
date. If you are an agency employee, your supervisor
will get information regarding your status from
Allied Community Resources.
You must register for a training by
calling Allied Community Resources (ACR) directly at
the number at the top of this page and ask for the
ABI Program Assistant. You will be sent directions
and a confirmation at that time. If you have not
registered properly through ACR, you will not be
allowed into the training.
IT IS NECESSARY FOR YOU TO PRESENT A VALID ID FROM
THE LIST BELOW IN ORDER TO GAIN ENTRANCE INTO THE
TRAINING. IF YOU DO NOT COME WITH AN ID FROM THE
BELOW LIST YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND.
